Christmas Cards...
I usually use Costco to order our Christmas cards but ALL of their cards say, "Season's Greetings" and I wanted ours to say, "Merry Christmas"!!!!!! So, I ordered mine from Sam's Club this year!!! Thank you Sam's Club for remembering WHY we celebrate the season!!
What's the deal with no Merry Christmas to choose from?? You know last year I got mine from Costco and got to write everything on it I wanted it to say(Merry Christmas) along with scripture too. I hope this did not change! LOOOOOOOVE the photo of you all~♥
Beautiful cards and picture! And THANK YOU for knowing it makes a difference...and for standing up for that difference! I wrote letters to every big store chain last year that refused to use "merry Christmas" and told them I wouldn't be spending my CHRISTMAS money in their store! I make it a point to spend it places that actually celebrate CHRISTMAS and not the holidays. If we all ban together they will cave and get it right!
OMG you have such a beautiful family and I so love your pics and cards!! I love that you made the effort to find a place that remembered the reason for the season!!
Darling Family Picture! Actually beautiful family. As a mom of three sons, isn't wonderful that if we wait long enough we get our beautiful daughters? I am glad our only daughtr has sisters in her life:)
I am amazed at how many stores can't even wish their customers a Merry Christmas!
I just noticed Nikki said the same thing:) We should all band together and write letters and let them know how we feel. I am contacting my favorite Costco about this... Even a small wee voice is a voice.
I have had the most difficult time finding anything that says "Merry Christmas" this year. It all says "Happy Holidays" or "Let it Snow." So frustrating!
Love the pic and the card. That is crazy...Season's Greetings...really?? So as far as Mimi's book, I already did a post on it. Refer to Dec. 8th. Maybe if I didn't post everyday it would be at the top of my blog still. LOL
Your pix is soooooo great! We never got ours done....again! What a slacker I am. I think fam photos are the most stressful thing on the planet. Maybe we will this summer! Ugh! I am made about the Costco thing too. Way to go!
great family pic- love the brown tones. and yay for sams club. i'm with you- not hip on the happy holiday greetings- let's call it what it is...christmas!
I have a WONDERFUL husband who supports me in everything I do! He is a great father! We are so lucky to have him! I love being with him whether it is an exciting trip to Hawaii or just going out for a quick lunch... okay, I even like sitting on the couch watching TV with him! He is the best! We have been blessed with 5 VERY handsome, VERY kind, VERY competitve (haha) SONS! I have loved going to their sporting events and "cheering" them on to victory over the years. Time flies, I have learned to enjoy each and every day! Life is too short! I have been SO blessed! I have 2 beutiful daughters in law whom I am SO grateful for! They are wonderful and add so much joy to my life! I always wanted a daughter and now I have TWO! AND, we have 2 new grandsons who have stole my heart!!! I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love the youth of the church... trying to help them see the importance of EVERY decision they make! I currently teach institute. I love to play with my kids, GO TO THE BEACH!, garden, go to a movie, go out to eat, travel, and just go out to lunch with my friends!
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience." -Gordon B. Hinckley "Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." -Robert Brauit "The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache." -Marjorie Pay Hincklely

"How did a nice girl like me get into a mess like this?"-Majorie Pay Hinckley
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Good for you for switching to Sam's Club. I want "Merry Christmas" as well!
I can't Believe that. Everyone should complain so they know...
At least you've done cards. We haven't even taken a picture yet...
Love your card! Good for you for picking someone that kept Christmas in their wording. That would bother me too.
