Okay, what do you mean?? I have the pics downloaded to my hard drive... and then I go to "new post" and type and then go up to the little square to add pics and download them that way... is that what you mean???

Hi Shaila! I know what she means. When you are posting, at the top of the post box are two tabs, one that says compose and the other says html. You go to the html box and there will be a bunch of "code." The code is your picture and you can move it around from there by copying that. I hope that makes sense! :) Email me if you have more ?s, I'm happy to help!

I was just reading your FB updates today, thinking it had been a while since I'd been to your blog. I didn't know if it was because I hadn't been paying attention or you had just been absent. Keep it up! I love your posts.

Honestly, I would just try again later. Blogger just has glitches sometimes. Like today for 15 minutes, it was telling me that I don't follow any blogs and no one follows me. I waited awhile and it went back to normal.

I upload my pics on a different website first, like photobucket, then I just copy and paste the HTML code it gives for each picture.... that way you can paste them in the order you want them, and you can make the pictures bigger than the picture upload tool on blogger let's you!

That happened to me yesterday! I was SO annoyed! I'm hoping it's just a glitch they are having. In the meantime I download my pics first keeping in mind that they post in the reverse order you pick them. Then I insert my text around the pics. Hope this helps, don't give up!!

I have had problems with blogger as well, but I have also had problems with one of our computers more than the other. When I tried uploading pictures from my PC it wouldn't do it at all. But I could do it on my laptop. Although once that didn't work either so I emailed the pictures to my daughter who posted them for me. She didn't have any problems. Lately both computers have worked fine, so I don't really know why I was having problems before. My guess is that it will work again sometime soon.

I didn't know about doing it through HTML though. I will have to give that a try.

I took the summer off. That helped my blogger woes!

Shaila, I download my pictures in the reverse order that I want them. It seems like the last picture I upload shows up first so I just do them in reverse order and then I type with the pictures. Hope this makes sense.

I've been there before! I usually try to remember to upload them in the order I want them in. OR I just copy and paste in the post & then once it's pasted where I want it I delete the other one.

Shaila When you choose the layout for your image if you mark the little circle that says "None" (as opposed to left, center or right)then you can move your pictures around anyway you want.
Hope this works for you.

Otherwise the other suggestions hold true the top picture you load is your last picture - within the post you still should be able to click and drag photos.
