Oh, Christmas Tree, oh, Christmas tree...

So, last night we went to get our tree! It is not as tall as the ones we have had in the past go Bradly boy got the idea of putting it on a box, so, yep, it is on a box of food storage... so, glad that our food storage has come in handy, °Ü° He cracks me up, he even found a piece of fabric to "cover the box" uh, honey.... it won't show anyway when I am finished!!! HAHAHA!

Anyway, we got it up, but I didn't get to decorate it due to Brad and the boys having to go to mutual last night. So, there is sits all naked waiting for lights and decorations! I hope they will climb up into the attack tonight and get me all the fun stuff to "dress" our tree!

NOT happy with my camera right now... look at how DARK the pictures turned out! NOT. HAPPY.

It looks like you guys had a great time getting you tree.
Look at the photos that you posted...Your husband is in two different places but with the same exact pose!(the way his head is tilted and arm is held.) Like he is saying "What are you doing taking another photo of me?" :)
Love it!!!!
Have fun dressing the tree!

So we have the before shot of the tree- can't wait to see the 'after' shot once it is decorated. We've never done the live tree thing in this house. Maybe we should one year, it DOES look like a lot of fun to go and get the tree like that.

Enjoy!

It took a couple days for my hubby to get everything down out of the attick for me too... We just did it last night. I miss having a real tree, but they dry so fast. I worry about them catching on fire.
How's your dad doing?

We got ours on Monday and it is STILL sitting in the garage probably dying of thirst! I have NO idea when we are going to find the time to decorate the thing all togther. I fear I may end up doing it myself! Actually THAT would NEVER happen! I can't take the stress!

Can't wait to see the end result!

Very, very different from my boys playing in the snow. I dream of shorts--it takes me 30 minutes to get the kids in their snow gear!

That's what I love, a man that knows how to decorate with food storage.

I'm sorry to hear from your comment on my blog that things are a little tough right now. I hope things get better for you - better for everyone, but especially you because you're one of my favorite peoples.

Hey, your one step ahead of me...we haven't even pulled our tree down from the rafters yet. Probably won't have the time until next week. I did put up my little kitchen tree today. At least I accomplished something today other than blogging!

We have been told we never know when we will need our food storage:-)
Your home is lovely! Your tree will be too and it will be doubly blessed because of the fun family activity of obtaining it... I love those memories!
Now we just go fake:D!

LOL...cover that box with expensive gifts...that will teach him to get a short tree! And I'm laughing because I haven't heard the word "Mutual" since I was a kid going myself! It brought back happy memories.

That is such a cozy place to put it Shaila. I love it. I am so glad you got to go and get the tree with the family. It is never with the family around here. Just me and the hubs.

YAY for someone else who gets real Christmas trees! So many people get fake ones, but I love real ones. I can't wait to see it all decorated! When my pictures turn out dark like that I try editing them on the free software, Picasa. It's really easy and sometimes makes pictures look quite a bit better. You should try it out if you haven't!

HI!!! My email has gone out on me so I am sending you a note here.

I like a photo with a mat. But that is just me. I think it looks finished off in a professional type of way.

Leave me a comment on my blog when you decide what you want. I need to get the photo somehow. Maybe my email will be up and running by then. Thanks, m
