Answered Prayers!!!

First of all I want to thank you ALL for your SWEET SWEET comments! You are the best!
Today my dad had the ultrasound... he has about a million gallstones! The Dr. was amazed by the amount! It looks like there are so many that they are blocking the duct to the liver therefore he is very jaundice etc! He said that he has had a build of gallstones for years! There ARE 2 spots on his liver that they are going to check out via a CT scan tomorrow morning at 10. Then they will do surgery and remove the gallbladder and biopsy the liver while they are in there. We are so RELIEVED, my mom sounded like a new person when she called this afternoon, bless her heart! Anyway, I just wanted to share the WONDERFUL news and thank you ALL for all the prayers!

I am leaving EARLY tomorrow morning to drive up to Oakland to my nephews wedding... so I will post any other info that we get on Sunday night late or Monday... Again, that you for all your love, support and prayers!!!

What wonderful news. If gallstones can be wonderful. But nonetheless. You found answers. I hope all the spots turn up to be nothing too. Have fun and be safe and give your dad a hug. I really did pray for him. I will be sending up a balloon for him on Saturday too.

Holy cow! It has been a few days since I have been to your blog so I was surprised to read all of this, especially your "out of right field" post. I don't think I knew ALL of that about your dad. CRAZY! Yes, that must be his big trial...his health. It is amazing to me how we are all dealt different trial, based on what we can handle. He has had a rough few years though. I am glad that things don't sound as serious as they originally did. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks for sharing and keep us posted.

We will keep your dad in our prayers. This is wonderful news...Hopefully the spots on the liver is just a shadow from the the gallstones. Nothing serious.

GREAT NEWS!...wait not that gallstones can be great news...dang those little buggers hurt like heck! But hopefully they can do the surgery with the scope and then there are just a few little holes...the healing time is really quick. I'm so glad things look brighter for you and your family today. We'll still keep praying for the best!
