Daddy's fruit trees

Yesterday dad wanted to go to church. He said he would probably just go to Sacrament meeting but then he said he really wanted to go to Priesthood too so.... he got all ready (dang, how I wish I would have taken a pic, he looked so cute) and we went. After Sac. mtg. I said do you want me to run you home so you can rest a bit and then I can come back and get you for Priesthood? He said, "No, I am staying". Alrighty then! When we got home he said, "I have to get my priorities straight" and he got a few bags and went out back and picked some peaches from his tree to take to some of his friends! Here are a few of the fruit trees he has out back...

An apple tree...

A pear tree...

And his yummy Peach tree! This is my favorite, I love peaches!!!

Look at how big and juicy they are!!!

They are GO tasty, we have been eating peaches every day... AND fresh tomato sandwiches!!! YUM!!!

So, I think I am going to try making some peach freezer jam.... have any of you ever made any? Did it turn out good? What recipe did you use?
What is your favorite fruit???

Your Dad is a pillar of light. I love his strength of character and spirit. Yeah for good daddy's.

I am pretty much a berry freak. I eat berries morning, noon and night. I should change my name to Berrymanilow. Um..Not. Halle Berry. There we go.

O.K. you made me laugh and then my mouth water....I would sure like to have one of those juicy peaches..I know you are enjoying being there...so glad you are. You know Proverbs says, "Laughter doeth good like a medicine". I read about a guy who was dying and he rented all of the old 3 stogies movies and laughed himself well. You know how we love to laugh... Love you, wilma
