Joke time...

My friend Jan was saying she needed a laugh... Robin posted the funniest joke and I had to share... I think we ALL need a good laugh... hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!! (Thanks, Robin!)

Once upon a time there were three sisters, ages 92, 94 and 96, and they all lived together. One night the 96 year old ran a bath. She put one foot in and paused. "Was I getting in the tub or out?" she yelled.

The 94 year old hollered back, "I don't know. I'll come and see." She started up the stairs and stopped. She shouted, "Was I going up or coming down?"

The 92 year old sitting at the kitchen table having tea, listening to her sister’s shook her head and said, "I sure hope I never get that forgetful," and knocked on wood for good measure. Then she yelled, "I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door."

I'm not sure if I've visited your blog before but I clicked over to see who the pie lady Merrianne's talking about.

Very funny joke! I'm afraid I'd be one of those ladies when I get to their age. I'm already forgetful.

RE: Freezer jam recipe - I used the one that came with the pectin. I'm not sure it's my fave though. I'll have to try it later and see. It's kind of sugary right now, but I'm hoping as it sets it won't be. I'm wonderng if the pectin specifically for freezer jam would've been better. I also froze a bunch of sliced peaches in syrup for later. Then I can make your peach cobbler anytime I want!

Welcome back. Glad to hear you got to see your kids. Did you get a family photo?

Jim is MUCH better. Still a little weak but nothing like he was.

Thanks for asking. M
