Over the River and Thru the Hills

Okay, so there was no river, BUT, I went on a 2 hour hike this morning! TOO FUN!!! Here we are in the front yard, on our way... Brad took a pic of us all before leaving for work. The 2 sister missionaries in our ward, CUTE fun girls! (In the pink and sunglasses) And, then hiding in the back is Gabe's mom, Teri, Then Lindsay (one of my Institute students) and me... Yep, no make up, okay, well, Sister S wore make up!

On the way up the hill we saw a few animals...
A BIG black crow...A wild burro...Looking ahead (oh yeah, the sisters were running!)Look back at where we had been...Sister M and Sister S, aren't they cute??!!!

I did this hike last Monday with Nancy, it was SO much fun I wanted to go again... not sure once a week is going to help me loose weight, watta ya think???

Do you like to hike? What is your favorite form of exercise?

How fun. You have some beautiful hills by your home. I still think its so funny that their are wild boars roaming around those hills. I see them often. I am not a big hiker but my mom sure is. She loves to take the grandkids up blue mountain.

I'm so jealous that you have NO SNOW!! Maybe I need to move somewhere warm - now that's a thought!

Looks like fun - you are such a fun person! Hiking is the best!

my new fun form of exercise is riding the bike. I got a new double stroller that hooks to the back of the bike. The weight of the kids helps out my legs. Now I just need to get my butt out and do it every day.

Still to cold to think about it, but it is so fun to do. Especially with great people.

That looks like a perfect place to go. Love the burro. That cracks me up. I would love to see a wild one.

Sister missionaries are so fun.

Lets see....2 hour hike...fun...gee there are two words I'd NEVER put together!!! ARE YOU NUTS....the only way hiking is fun is if someone is behind me pushing me up the hill...and I'm wearing wheels! Loved the pictures though!

Way to go! Good job! I am so so jealous that I was at work while you guys were having a party up on the rock! Too cute! How far did y'all go on your 2 hour hike? Did you make it to the goats? Glad you had such a great time.

It looks like GREAT exercise to me! I'd hike with you in a minute if we lived close by. I hiked down Snow Summit a few months back and had a blast. It was one of the highlights of my year last year!

I think my favorite form of exercise is walking. I had a walking partner but unfortunately she moved away. I need to get myself a new partner...by butt has grown by leaps and bounds!

How fun! Love the burro! I have been such a slacker at blog hoping lately that I had to read several of your posts and I just have to say that I loved that you had to be held back at one of those soccer games. I am the same! The mama bear comes out when anyone is being unfair to my boys! Game or otherwise! You go girl! ;o)

Also your "daughter" is so incredibly beautiful. Happy birthday to her. Loved your letter game...assign me one...I will play!!

I love to hike. I just did a 7 mile hike last week. Boy was I sore for a couple of days. I want to start going more but don't have the time. We don't have the cute animals like you though.

I live on a hill here in my town-so I crawl out of bed at 5:10 a.m. and hike around this hill and back up it. When I can make it across town-on clear roads...then I hike around town with my buddies. Since, I'm Eskimo...I'm just born to hike:)

Hiking is so much more fun with friends! Looks like you guys had a fun walk. I love to take walks too but its way to cold here to walk in the winter. I have recently been doing yoga and I absolutely love it!
