Girls Camp PraNks anyone??!!! °Ü°

I have been working on all the stuff for girls camp. I am excited, I love girls camp! We (stake leaders) are going up on Saturday to take up a LOT of the decorations and craft stuff up so we won't have to haul so much up on Monday. Then ALL the leadership goes up on Monday and the bus of campers will be arriving on Tues morning! We cut camp short a day this year to due to the Dance Festival so we will all be coming home Fri morning. Our theme this year is "ARK" (as in Noah's) ARK stands for Acts of Random Service!

Now that all the work for camp is mostly out of the way, I have been trying to come up with some fun little PraNks for camp... I remember one year we tied a string to the screen of the leadership cabin and would get behind the bushes and pull on the string... it scared the girls in the cabin to death! FUN! SO... any fun suggestions for this year???

Here are a few pics from Super Saturday...

Thanks for commenting on my blog, I like yours too! Oh, girl's camp is so fun, I used to love it. That would be such a fun calling to be one of the camp directors! I can't think of any good pranks right now though.

I love all the posters. And the theme is fantastic. I have no pranks, because our Stk. really doesn't allow to much of that to go on. That was the fun part, but it has had to stop some. So I have nothing to offer you in ideas.

You guys look like you have way to much fun. I am so glad the girls have good leaders willing to serve them happily. Have fun and good luck.

Looks like you had lots of fun at Super Saturday!
When I was in Girls Camp (way back in the olden days) No one had to think up of any pranks because some varmint would get into our tents or something and scare everyone to death anyway :) There was no need for a prankster :) So...I really don't know. Sorry...I was no help at all!!!

Our girls camp was early this year... and it snowed on them!! Brrr.
I'm jealous of your STAKE camp...

I didn't get to go this year either, because of my new little baby... I did take her for 1 day, and she was NOT happy about being up there with all that smoke!

We made little TP tents out of paper (and I do mean little) and then put them all over in tents (like hundreds of these silly things) and said "you've been tp'd. pass it on"

I also cut out more hearts than I want to admit, and heart attacked the girls tents with them.

Have fun! I just LOVE girls camp!!

We are going to camp next week. I am the stake photographer and my daughter is a 3rd year. I LOVE CAMP and always try to get invited if I am not in YW at the time.

Pranks: breadcrumbs on the tent roof (birds make a lot of noise up there come morning. COTTON BALLS IN TOES OF SHOES works well and does not hurt anyone.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I really like yours. Love your wallpaper. Where did you get that? M

Remote control fart machine (Get at Spencer's Gifts) The remote control works through walls! Pretty funny. Bags of cotton balls. When you wet them and throw them on a wall, side of tent etc., they stick and then dry there. It doesn't damage a thing! I always bring balls of yarn. We have cabins and we wrap/tie yarn all around the inside of the cabin and make it look like a spider's web. Buy saran wrap at Costco and when the girls are sleeping, saran wrap them in their bunk. Or take their mattress/sleeping bag and saran wrap it around a tree trunk! One year an adult chaperone rounded up as many alarm clocks as she could. (99cent store sells some too.) I think she had around 75 and set them for different times during the night and put them around people's tents. Ha! Wal-Mart sells Moon Pies, throw some on beds and say You've Just been Mooned!

hmmmm.. I think that's about it for now!! I'm so jealous...have a great time!!

Ok, well I am a 2nd year and have come across some pretty cool pranks, but this- this is pure genius. My brother actually came up with it. Put dixie cups filled with water all around someones bed so they can't get put or move around. It would be really funny and safe too. That might sound stupid if you think about it but the person being pranked will probably egg it on just because the attention can be flattering. yep, by the way you seem like an Awesome person.

Buy a big food storage can at like macy's or something and drill a hole in the bottom of it. Thread rope though the hole and tie knots on both end. When it comes time to pranking, sit the can upside down on a rock or cement or something resonant and pull the rope though the hole. The can will make a sound that sounds like a bear growling. P.S. the bigger the can the deeper the growl. Hope I helped. Come visit me at http://whenlifegivesyounuts.blogspot.com/ Bye!
