Mother's Day
I had the opportunity to go to Women's conference at BYU this past week. We left to go on Tues and the kids (Derek, Brittany, Devin, & Diana) all left on Thurs to go to Seattle to work for the summer. While I was gone the girls cleaned out my pantry as an early Mother's Day present!!! They are so good to me! I still go in there and just LOOK at it... it hasn't been this organized since the day we moved in! THANK YOU girls!!! You are the best!!!
I can't believe you took a picture lol! It was really fun to do, and your the best mom you totally deserve it! We miss you guys so much! we'll call soon to chat love ya!
Wow! I haven't been on your page in a few days, but it looks like life has been busy! I told my mom to add/invite you to her page and she said she sent you an e-mail?? Who knows? She is still learning the blogging world. :)
what an awesome gift! i must admit that this looks SO nice! i am always too busy to clean out mine too, and just end up throwing stuff in there most of the time. what sweet girls! ps - you were in UTAH?! oh i hate when you are so close and yet so far! miss you a ton!
So I saw your comment about wanting to do a collage of pics. Here's how...either go to picasa.com or click on the color square under my pics. and it will take you there. Let me know if you can't figure it out from there and I will help. Hope this helps.
No worries..So this is how I get mine to work...go to picasa. Choose which pictures you want to use in your collage (one at a time), and each time you choose a pic. click hold. When you have the pics. you want, click on collage at the bottom and it will create one for you. When your collage is made, click on blog this. It will take you to a new post with HTML script and then type what you want about your collage under that. I hope this makes sense & works for you, if not we can try something else, but this is how I get mine to work. Also, as far as the music...go to my page and under my music list, click on create your free playlist. It should take you to the site and walk you through how to do it. If you can't figure it out, let me know.
I have a WONDERFUL husband who supports me in everything I do! He is a great father! We are so lucky to have him! I love being with him whether it is an exciting trip to Hawaii or just going out for a quick lunch... okay, I even like sitting on the couch watching TV with him! He is the best! We have been blessed with 5 VERY handsome, VERY kind, VERY competitve (haha) SONS! I have loved going to their sporting events and "cheering" them on to victory over the years. Time flies, I have learned to enjoy each and every day! Life is too short! I have been SO blessed! I have 2 beutiful daughters in law whom I am SO grateful for! They are wonderful and add so much joy to my life! I always wanted a daughter and now I have TWO! AND, we have 2 new grandsons who have stole my heart!!! I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love the youth of the church... trying to help them see the importance of EVERY decision they make! I currently teach institute. I love to play with my kids, GO TO THE BEACH!, garden, go to a movie, go out to eat, travel, and just go out to lunch with my friends!
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience." -Gordon B. Hinckley "Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." -Robert Brauit "The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache." -Marjorie Pay Hincklely

"How did a nice girl like me get into a mess like this?"-Majorie Pay Hinckley
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley

I like your blog, Shaila. I just started one of my own, and it has your son's picture on it. It's not as fancy as yours though.
